What Oils Am I Wearing?

I am thinking of doing a post, periodically, on what oils I am wearing at a given time, and why I am wearing them. I will also do posts on what oils are in my diffuser too, so stay tuned for those.

There are certain oils I use EVERY day, morning and night. Then, there are others that I use here and there, when I need them. All my oils come from Young Living. I have done some research, and also trust the research of some other folks who have done even more than I have, and I have come to the conclusion that Young Living oils are the purest and best therapeutic grade oils that are out there. Am I an oil snob? Yes. But only because I want to make sure I’m putting the best stuff onto and into my family. I wouldn’t trust any other brand for ingesting OR for putting on our skin. Remember, what goes on you goes in you. I believe so much in these oils that I have become a distributor with Young Living. So today, I am wearing Progessence Plus, SclarEssence, Lemon, Lavender, Lemongrass, Oregano and RC. The Progessence Plus, SclarEssence and Lemon are ones that I use daily, morning and evening. The others I am using for specific issues that I am treating today.

young_living_progessence-small Progessence Plus Serum – This oil has natural progesterone from wild yam in it, along with a blend of other oils including frankincense and bergamot, for optimal absorption. It is FABULOUS for supporting the female system and has helped me immensely. I would be lost without this! I think every woman can benefit in one way or another from this oil.

young_living_sclaressence-smallSclarEssence – This oil is for healthy glandular function. It helps to support the endocrine system. I use it along with the Progessence Plus to support my female system, and also to promote healthy thyroid function. It is a blend of clary sage, sage lavender, peppermint, and fennel essential oils.


young_living_lemon-smallLemon – Lemon is great for seriously all kinds of things. One of its many functions is supporting the lymphatic system. My doctor has me put it on every morning and night—again, four drops each time on my neck, but paying more attention to getting it right on my glands/lymph nodes.


young_living_lavender-smallLavender – Lavender is an amazing oil for soothing and calming skin.



young_living_lemongrass-smallLemongrass – Lemongrass is really good for supporting cartilage and joint function. I just got this oil on the weekend and have been using it the past few days.




Oregano – I recently started using Oregano because of it’s great support to the immune system. I smell a little like an Italian restaurant 😉 But I’m helping to keep my body healthy!



young_living_rc-smallRC – RC supports the respiratory system. It is an amazing oil blend, with eucalyptus and lavender, and other oils. I use it for lung support, mainly.
